Invision Technologies

Our HiStory

We started as a computer network services operation but quickly grew into a complete technology services business. Now we offer solutions for computer networking, telephone systems, and low-voltage infrastructure installations. 

2007

Invision Technologies Founded.

Founded in 2007, Invision has always had one goal in mind. To empower communities through technology.

2013

Invision purchased Atlantic Tel-Com, Inc. (ATC).

Since 1981, ATC has been serving Southwest Georgia using leading edge telephone systems; from the original digital systems to modern day Voice over IP or VoIP systems.

2015

Invision acquired Alarm Detection Technologies.

Founded in 1998, Alarm Detection was an Albany, Georgia based firm specializing in commercial and residential alarm systems, as well as fire alarms, access control systems, and camera surveillance systems.

2017

Invision purchased Safe Security, Inc.

Since 2007, Safe Security provided residential alarm systems to the greater Albany, Georgia area.

2021

Invision acquired Ingleside Data Systems (IDS).

Founded in 1988, IDS served the needs of Macon and Middle Georgia by providing technical support to its partner’s networks, servers, and computer environments.

Where We Are Now

Today, Invision currently employs over 46 local individuals and is led by four partners: Jay Pollock, Jay Carpenter, Chris Farr and Jodie Kretzer. The company plans to continue to serve the Southern and Middle Georgia communities and innovate and adapt to provide leading-edge technology solutions. 

Meet Our Team

Our leadership team and directors have decades of experience in the industry. This experience combined with our industry-leading services sets Invision Technologies apart as the premium choice for IT networking, telephone, and security solutions.

Jay Pollock

Jay founded Invision Technologies in 2007 and now operates as the company’s President. Since starting his career in technology in 1999, he has earned several industry standard certifications. After seven years of working for different technology services companies based in South Georgia, Jay decided to begin his own venture in the industry. He founded Invision Technologies to provide a more innovative and better customer experience for clients in the community. Jay leads the company as the visionary for future growth and development. 

Jay Carpenter

Jay has been in the electrical business his entire life. Since his father was an electrician, he spent time away from school wiring houses and commercial projects. While earning his BS degree in Computer Science Technology from Georgia Southwestern University, Jay and his father opened a low voltage security dealership in 1998. Jay eventually grew the company into other low voltage fields such as fire alarm, surveillance, access control, and A/V solutions. He is a GA Low Voltage-Alarm license holder and is certified in multiple Honeywell and Firelite based products. Jay serves as the Vice President of Sales. 

Chris Farr

Chris was born and raised in Leesburg, Ga where he currently resides with his wife Kim.  They have been married for over 20 years and have 3 children between them. 

Chris has been working in the IT industry for 20+ years.  His early IT career was in the financial sector, where he was employed for 10 years, and was the Vice President of Technology. Chris then moved into the SMB business world of IT and joined Invision in 2016.  Chris serves as the Vice President of Operations. 

Jodie Kretzer

Prior to Joining Invision Technologies, Jodie spent 12 years in information technology roles in higher education.  Most recently, he served as an IT Director for a multi-campus University and provided daily IT operations leadership, project management, and strategic planning to the institution.  Jodie has also served as an adjunct faculty member for 6 years in which he taught computer science courses as well as various business technology courses.  

In 2021, Jodie joined the Invision Technologies team to strengthen and expand upon its core service department.  Jodie has a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia Southwestern State University and a master’s degree in information technology from Middle Georgia State University.  

Jodie also holds a variety of technical and professional certifications, including HDI Support Center Manager (HDI-SCM), ITILv4, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.  Jodie serves as the Vice President of Service Management.
